Your typical first post.

Lately I've been really inspired by all of the wonders of the internet, one of those wonders being the world of blogging. I've tried it before, and failed because I got bored. Well, I wasn't quite as inspired before, so I thought I'd give it another whirl. The world needs a little more whirl, or at least mine does. This blog is basically a project to challenge myself (I need more discipline in my interests) with the hopes that maybe someone will come along and be inspired by my postings, or at least find them interesting. So without further adieu, allow me to introduce myself properly.

Exactly nineteen years and eight months ago, I was born. My name is Amylynn (beloved waterfall) and I am a curious, adventure-craving, nature-loving nerd. "Mommy's little monster". It is impossible to sum people up in words, but my nickname hits it pretty close. Olieo, Olieander, Olieo Cheerio, etc. are variations of Olie which has been my nickname since birth. Olieo without the 'e' means hodgepodge, and that is very true to my personality. So this blog is a hodgepodge, or medley of anything that strikes my fancy.

So say hello to my big ball of crazy. There will be excessive wordiness, raves & rambles, lots of pictures, and just about anything under the sun. Here we go.
